Here's the best way to enjoy your trip with us...

READ IT TO EVERYONE!

First, a little background information or what we guides call "beta." This is a long trip! The earlier we start the better. Depending on where your hotel is located we've probably told you a pick-up time between 5:45 and 6:15 A.M. Please, respect this and be ready when we arrive. We've been up for an hour already packing your trip and making sure everything is ready so trust us we know it's early. The first hour or so is in the car before we serve you breakfast. You can go back to sleep if you choose. All joking aside, most people find it easiest to get everything ready the night before so they can stumble out of bed when the alarm goes off. We're sorry for the inconvenience, if we could start later then we would, but the trip is a LOT more enjoyable when we leave on time. You are paying for our services and so we are not going to yell and scream at you if you are late, but if you inconvenience the rest of the trip for longer than thirty minutes we will leave you. Sorry.

Things to Bring:

1) Sunscreen! We will be in the sun for 3 to 4 hours please apply early and often.

2) Wear your bathing suit. Women we suggest board short style bottoms. The bikini elastic is often right where you sit on the raft. Enough said.

3) Tennis shoes, water shoes, or sandals. Chaco or Teva style sandals are ideal. Diving booties also work great. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT bring flip-flops to wear on the river. All foot wear must have a strap around the heel. Sorry, but Croc's don't work either.

4) Camera. There will be a professional photographer to document your trip, but there are also great photo opportunities on the way to river and at breakfast and lunch.

5) Dry change of clothes and a towel.

And MOST importantly, lots of smiles... it makes it easier on the photographer!

Things NOT to Bring:

1) Valuables. Lock any and all valuables in the safe in you hotel room. All of your possessions are safe in the vehicle during the trip, but let's not tempt fate.
